Jillian Berotti has been a Social Worker for nearly 10 years with extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Strength-based, and Person-Centered therapeutic models. As a neurodivergent affirming provider, Jillian is well trained in Emotional Regulation, Cognitive Reframing, Coping Skills, and Motivational Interviewing. Jillian also has extensive experience with the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Jillian works on building client strength through unmaking and supportive self-acceptance rather than "fixing" the client to fit neurotypical norms. She focuses on a safe, non-judgemental environment built on a foundation of trust and compassion. Jillian hopes to help clients build strength and confidence through empowerment, advocacy while focusing on the dignity and worth of each client within a holistic environment. She has extensive background working with teens, adults. geriatric clients as well as couples and parents.
Jillian holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. Aside from private therapy, Jillian has a background in behavioral health hospital settings including crisis management, needs assessment, advocacy, and familial support.
